We have arrived!
Our travels went amazingly smoothly considering all the possibilities for chaos that the pandemic has introduced. We had a nice rest in the lounge in Boston before embarking on our flight to Rome. All our docs were checked in Boston and so on arrival in Rome they only checked our passports.

We are now seated in the stunning courtyard bar of our hotel in Rome, the St. Regis (free stay courtesy of hard earned Marriott Bonvoy points). The staff are delightful and provided us with cappuccini and some of the best pastries ever.
